SSHEA is the official association representing licensed small accommodation establishments in Seychelles with 25 keys or fewer. From intimate Seychelles holiday home retreats to boutique private villa Seychelles properties, SSHEA brings independent operators together under one recognised body.

SSHEA member establishments hosted over 40,000 visitors during 2025, representing approximately 10% of total visitor arrivals. That is an average of 3,340 arrivals per month and 108 per day across the SSHEA accommodation network.

Any licensed small accommodation establishment in Seychelles with 25 keys or fewer is welcome to apply for membership.
Do I need a tourism licence to join?
Yes. All SSHEA members must hold a valid tourism licence issued by Seychelles Licensing Authority
Can self-catering or guesthouses apply?
Yes, self-catering properties, guesthouses, and similar small establishments are welcome, provided they are licensed and meet the 25-key limit.
What are the benefits of joining SSHEA?
Members gain visibility, industry representation, networking opportunities, and access to shared knowledge and initiatives that support authentic, small-scale hospitality in Seychelles.
Is there a membership fee?
Yes, membership is subject to an annual fee of SCR 1,200, plus SCR 100 for your physical and digital SSHEA membership card, which can be presented to partners to access member discounts on goods and services.
